Since 2012, my work has focused on delivering asset inventories, preventive maintenance plans, lifecycle and replacement‑cost reports, vendor comparisons, and Scopes of Work (SOW). I've also supported clients with HVAC‑related analysis, including equipment sizing verification, load calculations, ductwork assessments, and troubleshooting or preventing failed Scopes of Work — ensuring decisions are grounded in accurate data and compliant documentation.

I draw on decades of mechanical project analysis, contractor oversight, and facility‑operations experience. For nearly 40 years, I have developed Scopes of Work that provide clear expectations, enforceable requirements, and defensible documentation for agencies and contractors. My past work included coordinating contractor activities, reviewing technical documentation, preparing maintenance summaries, tracking vendor performance, and producing clear, defensible reporting. I have provided oversight for HVAC system installations, retrofit projects, and code‑driven modifications, working closely with mechanical engineering teams to ensure accuracy, safety, and compliance.

Background & Experience

Before forming Robert Earl, LLC, I spent more than three decades as a professional in mechanical services, operations management, and project oversight. My career included extensive hands‑on exposure to residential, commercial and industrial mechanical systems with a focus on HVAC, supported by factory technical training at major equipment manufacturers across the United States and Canada—including Trane, American Standard, Lennox, Carrier, Hydrotherm, HiVelocity, Heatlink PEX, and Innovex building‑automation systems.

Over the years, I held roles such as:

Project Manager, The Fowler Company — Commercial and industrial HVAC project management involving PM program development and functional oversight, new system installation, retrofit and reconfiguration of existing systems, and coordination of electrical, plumbing, and building‑automation controls. Responsibilities included coordinating mechanical engineering support and providing facilities Preventive Maintenance oversight. The Ohio‑based mechanical services company required regular travel to customer production facilities across Iowa, North Carolina, and Indiana to support project planning, on‑site assessments, contractor coordination, and HVAC engineering integration within active manufacturing environments.
Operations Manager, All Seasons Climate Control — oversight of 100+ continuous active HVAC projects both new construction and retrofit, all purchasing, enforced safety compliance, and maintained efficient workflow management.
Outside Sales Coordinator, Wolff Bros. Mechanical Supply — Supported a defined territory of 60 commercial and residential contractors by providing technical guidance, product application support, and coordinated procurement across plumbing, electrical, and HVAC systems. Managed contractor relationships, assisted with equipment selection and code‑compliant material packages, and ensured accurate, timely fulfillment for ongoing construction and retrofit projects.
